The Cougars are starting to gain momentum as they steam roll pass Cincinnati

The Cougars are starting to feel the confidence as

they begin to gain win after win. On Friday nights

game vs Cincinnati, BYU started off a little rusty.

The slow start was mainly due to the injury Magnum

suffered last week versus East Carolina. He

attempted to run after seeing a wide gap in the

pocket, and he had no one else to throw to.

Sources say he was suffering from the effects of a

pulled hamstring. It seemed his injury was still a little

sensitive during the first half of the BYUvsCIN game. As time went on, in the second half, it looked like

Magnum finally caught his second wind as he began to throw some pretty deep completions. Cincinatti

worked as hard as they could to maintain the lead, but began to slip away late in the fourth quarter. In the

beginning Cinncinati used their speed to outrun the Cougars, but it ended up working against them in the

long run as they began to grow more, and more weary. By the time it was the fourth, they were gassed out,

and had no more fuel to get them over the hump as they began to slowly lose the lead, and eventually lose

the whole momentum as it switched in favor of the Cougs and ended with the demise of Cincinnati.

The cougars are set to face Wagner October 24th 2015 @ 12PM. Wagner has yet to pull a W in their

2015-16 season. It will be interesting to see what they come up with to play against the Cougs. This might

be a chance for some second, third, and fourth string players to see some action for the Cougs as they

prepare to face Sea Hawks. BYU is with 5 wins and 2 losses so far in their 2015-16 season.
